Due to their eye-catching finish and their fantastic sound qualities the Classics Custom Dark Series is an outstanding part of the Meinl product range since their introduction in 2014. These cymbals already gained great recognition by trade press and professional drummers from all over the world.
For 2016 we proudly present a long-awaited sound expansion which includes the following add-ons: 10“ Dark Splash, 18“ Dark China, 21“ Dark Crash, 22“ Dark Crash-Ride.
All cymbals are made in Germany from high-quality B10 bronze in a complex manufacturing process with a special heat and lathing treatment. The unique, but rather dark sound offers quick accents with a short sustain and full control of their overtones. Additional hammering was applied to all of the new Classics Custom Dark cymbals which add a trashier note to their overall sound characteristic.
The cymbals can be used for a wide range of musical genres, from pop to rock to metal.
